Hello
My name is Presley Engle, and I am a proud mother of two boys whom I share with my husband of seven years. In March 2021, I had the privilege of establishing Engle Law, Inc. in my beloved hometown of Paris, Arkansas. My mission is to provide legal services that reflect my core values as an attorney, a mother, a wife, and, above all, a woman of faith. I understand that my clients often meet me during challenging times in their lives, and it is my aspiration to serve not only as their lawyer but also as a steadfast supporter through any adversity they encounter.
My Story
My interest in law began when I was just 16 years old, after witnessing a criminal trial in Johnson County, Arkansas. That experience left a lasting impression on me and ultimately shaped the path I chose for my life and career.
I went on to earn my bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Sociology, from the University of Arkansas–Fort Smith. During my final semester, I had the opportunity to work as a clerk for the District Court in Van Buren, Arkansas—an experience that deepened my commitment to pursuing law.
I began law school in Fayetteville with a continued focus on criminal law, earning a Criminal Law Certificate while clerking for the Washington County Public Defender’s Office. I also served on the Law Review, where I authored a scholarly article examining mens rea defenses in criminal cases. I graduated in the top 10% of my class in May 2020.
Today, my practice centers on family law—particularly divorce and custody matters—as well as criminal defense. To continue honing my courtroom skills and deepen my perspective within the justice system, I also serve part-time as a public defender. This work keeps me grounded in the realities many families face and strengthens my ability to advocate with both clarity and compassion.
