Hello
My name is Presley Engle, and I am a proud mother of two boys whom I share with my husband of seven years. In March 2021, I had the privilege of establishing Engle Law, Inc. in my beloved hometown of Paris, Arkansas. My mission is to provide legal services that reflect my core values as an attorney, a mother, a wife, and, above all, a woman of faith. I understand that my clients often meet me during challenging times in their lives, and it is my aspiration to serve not only as their lawyer but also as a steadfast supporter through any adversity they encounter.
My Story
When I was just 16 years old, I witnessed a criminal case in Johnson County, AR, which sparked my interest in pursuing a career in law. I obtained my bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology from the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith. During my final semester as an undergraduate, I worked as a clerk for the District Court in Van Buren, AR.
After starting Law School in Fayetteville, I continued to focus on criminal law and earned a criminal law certificate. I also clerked for the Washington County Public Defenders Office, worked on the Law Review, and wrote a lengthy article on mens rea defense. I ranked in the top 10% of my class and graduated from Law School in May 2020.
My practice focuses on primarily divorce and custody cases and criminal defense. To further enhance my skills and broaden my understanding of the criminal system, I am gaining valuable experience through a part-time public defender position.
